Chelsea Carson, M.D. FAPA
I am originally from the Midwest but have now lived in the Augusta area for over a decade. I am Board-Certified in both General and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I attended Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and then moved to Augusta to complete my Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Augusta University. From there I stayed on at Augusta University as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist focusing on working with children and adolescents in acute inpatient, residential, and outpatient clinic settings. I worked there for 8 years before making the decision to branch out into our own private practice to continue to work with and treat children and adolescents and their families in our community. I have extensive experience in treating depressive, anxiety, bipolar, psychotic, and autism spectrum/developmental disorders.

Lisa Sheehan, M.D.
I am originally from Augusta and obtained my undergraduate degree at Augusta University. I moved away to attend medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, obtained my Adult Psychiatry training there, and returned to Augusta to complete my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training. After completion of my training in 2010, I stayed on faculty at Augusta University for 11 years focusing on outpatient community care. I worked at LifeStance Health providing outpatient services for a year before deciding that I wanted to offer the community my services out of my own office to tailor to the needs of my patients. Augusta is once again my hometown for over a decade and I am enjoying raising my children here. I am Board-Certified in General and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. My focus is on children and mental/emotion issues that arise throughout their development, such as depression, anxiety, focus issues, bullying, autism spectrum, and psychotic illnesses.
